There is just something about fall that captures a child's sense of wonder. Of course, I've always worked with preschoolers and kindergartners . . . and their sense of wonder is pretty wide open all year round!

Fall is a great time to talk about all four seasons with the kids, and it's the perfect time to just sit back and observe. Encourage the kids to watch the changes and make note of them.

Trees are one of the main things that always seem to capture my students' attention in the fall. I think it's because they go through the biggest change in autumn. It's kind of hard to miss.
